Tata DoCoMo unveils a new offering that caters to the underprivileged by teaching them the basic English modules. The latest unique VAS application is known as English Seekho and can be accessed via an Interactive Voice Portal. This newly-launched endeavor is noted to be the latest addition in its vast VAS line-up.
English Seekho enables users to learn conversational English utilizing just their Tata DoCoMo handsets. Through the guidance of English Guru and Maria adorning the role of teachers, they can experience audio clips that teach spoken English via learning sessions. There are five different levels to avail of namely Basic Course, Professional Course, Full Course, Social Course and Advanced Course that include 44 chapters for various levels of English.

The new application also has the ability to remember all the lessons already encountered by users. Each of them will be concluded by a short test with multiple choices. The correct answers can be typed out through the phone’s key-pad. Subsequently, they will also be prompted to speak a sentence picked out from the lesson which will be captured by the internal speech recognition engine.
To avail of this offer, subscribers can dial 529221 from their Tata DoCoMo handsets. Subscription charges are only Rs. 10 for a period of 15 days and browsing charges are priced at 1 paise/second. This application is extended to both pre-paid as well as post-paid subscribers.
