From frequent travelers to customary junketers, heavy charges attached to incoming roaming have always made people either disconnect their calls within no time or avoid answering them. To avoid such undesired episodes, Tata DoCoMo recently launched an exclusive ‘Roam Free’ offer for its postpaid users.
By taking advantage of the newly announced offer, users can enjoy incoming roaming absolutely free anywhere across the country on the company’s speedy network. However, users will be charged 1 paise per second for outgoing roaming.
As of now, the new plan is active on three Roam Free Plans – Roam Free 299, Roam Free 499 and Roam free 799. Under these plans, users can opt for 4, 7 and 12 free toppings respectively.
“The launch of Roam Free Plans is yet another step towards our aspiration of becoming the most loved teleservices brand by simplifying and enriching people’s lives through refreshingly different and relevant products and services,” shared Gurinder Singh Sandhu, Head Corporate Marketing, Tata Teleservices Limited. “Customers can now roam the country anywhere on our network, free of the stress of picking up an incoming call as incoming roaming is absolutely free on these plans. In addition, they can continue to make outgoing calls on per second billing.”
Tata DoCoMo’s existing customers can also benefit from the new offer. Users are required to send SMS ‘ACT UROAM’ to 121 in order to avail the offering on the serviceable Roam Free Plans with greater than 299 rental.
