Interestingly, it automatically takes backup of newly synched contacts and images. Users can place the offering next to their bed like a nightstand and plug it directly into a wall out.
The dock is enhanced with a 4GB SD card which delivers the storage facility required for backup. Users can also interchange this card for a higher memory module so as to augment storage options. Owners first need to download the SuperHero app on their iPhone which mechanically activates when the smartphone is placed on the peripheral. Moreover, the backup of multiple Apple handsets can be taken using the same dock.
The Iomega SuperHero Backup and Charger can be purchased for $69.99 for iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G along with iPod Touch. This device is slated to be unveiled at CES this week.
