AOC D70V50G voice calling slate unveiled for Rs 7750 in India

AOC has forayed into the mobile devices market in India with the reasonably pegged D70V50G tablet. The Taiwan-based electronics company which is famous for monitors, also launched the E40 and M601 smartphones. All three are powered by Android and they fall in the affordable segment with prices starting at Rs 4490.

The AOC E40 is the smallest and low-end of the three new launches. The phone is designed for the entry-level market as it comes with bare minimum hardware needed to smoothly run Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It looks like the company will be offering the device sans any UI customizations which is a good thing as the cosmetics can take a toll on performance.
