Though Vodafone seemed quite hasty about introducing the latest HTC smartphone to the world, the T-Mobile HTC Desire C will be the first to officially break cover, in the UK. Even if the exact release date has not received a mention, it should be available anytime soon.

Just as its other siblings, the handset in question carries the attractive combination of ICS and HTC Sense 4.0. A 3.5-inch HVGA display graces its front panel, while the phone also features a 5MP camera. Audiophiles should be satisfied to know that it is integrated with Beats Audio. Additionally, it carries Dropbox storage for 25GB free online storage space.

“Listening to music is one of the most popular things people use their phones for, so it’s more important than ever that we deliver the power and emotion artists capture in the studio. The HTC Desire C offers customers excellent design, easy access to content and fast connectivity – making it the perfect all round device,” commented Jason Mackenzie, President, Global Sales and Marketing for HTC Corporation.

The smartphone is available in color choices of red, white and black which top off a pretty decent construct. There is also an NFC variant of the device in the offing that should enable apps like Google Wallet and others, apart from connectivity to NFC peripherals. Touted to carry a beefy battery, it provides access to an array of apps covering music, games and more from the online store.

The T-Mobile HTC Desire C will ship on the carrier’s PAYM plan starting from £15.50 every month, and at a price of £169.99 on PAYG. It is expected to arrive on the network operator’s official site and UK store shelves soon.
