Sygic proclaims compatibility of Mobile Maps GPS navigation app with Windows Mobile 6.5

Sygic Mobile Maps App The Windows Mobile 6.5 platform is buzzing with a plethora of new innovations and one such enhancement is the Sygic Mobile Maps GPS navigation app for the Windows 6.5.

Sygic presents full-featured turn-by-turn voice guided GPS navigation for mobile phones and smartphones. Apart from the Windows Mobile range, it also supports mobile and embedded platforms such as Windows CE, Windows XP/Vista as well as iPhone, Symbian S60 v3, v5 including touch-screen versions, Linux and Google’s Android.

“The unique multiplatform engine of Sygic navigation software enables us to make a way through the quantum of the operating systems like an ice-breakerJ. We were the first turn-by-turn application ready for sale for iPhone at iTunes back in June – just 10 days after the official iPhone OS 3.0 release, we are one of the first providers of a navigation application for Android phones and now we are happy to announce our compatibility with and availability for Windows Mobile 6.5. We devote our efforts to all mobile platforms at the same level of importance, because that is the only way how we can bring a great user experience and a reliable solution to our customers. At the same time, we are working hard and continuously to extend the regional availability of the application in order to make it accessible to mobile phones users world-wide,” mentioned Michal Stencl, Sygic’s CEO.

The range of covered regions include the Europe, UK & Ireland, North America including USA, Canada and Mexico along with Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and South East Asian countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. More regions are likely to be added shortly.

The Sygic GPS navigation application for Windows Mobile 6.5 is available from Sygic web site e-shop or via Expansys distribution network.
