Switzerland can enjoy a full-20 channels TV on their mobile phones via Swisscom

The Bluewin TV, a TV service by Swisscom will feature 20 channels for a full-on entertainment right in the mobile phones of the subscribers.

The service is said to cover around 44% of the Swiss population. The DVB-H based service offered by Swisscom can also run on a DVB-H-enabled handset as it can be played on the Vodafone Live! portal through UMTS/EDGE which will then cover 99.8% of the population.

As of now, the only phone capable of giving a quality output of the entertainment package seems to be Nokia N77, which is the chosen one to provide the service.

Bluewin TV is available for 16 Swiss francs (about $15.40) per month.

Subscribers will receive an uninterrupted high-definition picture quality and excellent sound via Bluewin TV where they also have a choice of SF1, TSR1 and Eurosport amongst the 20 channels. For more high quality entertainment, wait for N96!
