The Swipe Ultimate Tab 3G is a Windows 8.1 powered hybrid which can be used as a tablet and a laptop owing to its docking keyboard design. The convertible has been officially launched in India carrying a price of Rs 19999 and it’s scheduled to go on sale from tomorrow.
The Swipe Ultimate Tab 3G is as its name suggests, the cellular model of the Ultimate Tab which went official back in November last year. The addition of HSPA connectivity is the only difference here and it’s quite surprising to see that the retail tag hasn’t been hiked.
The Wi-Fi version will likely get a reduction in cost following the slate’s launch, but that’s yet to be confirmed as it’s still on sale for Rs 19999. Additionally, this Swipe tablet features a full-size USB 3.0 port for connecting external storage devices and other peripherals.
The tablet features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display with Zero Air Gap technology and it houses the majority of components. On the inside, you’ll find a 1.33GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3735F processor along with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage. There’s also a 7000mAh battery which is an entire 1000mAh smaller than the one on the Wi-Fi model.
