The Swipe MTV Volt price has been officially announced and buyers will soon be able to lay their hands on it for Rs. 12,999 through various sources. The launch is a joint endeavor to deliver a budget-friendly device to the young adults and professionals of the Indian subcontinent.
The device combines the functionality of a phone and tablet, thus attempting to present users with the best of both worlds. Not only does it accommodate two SIM slots, but also provides connectivity through Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. In addition to this, the smartphone proffers a maximum download speed of 7.2Mbps over HSPA 3G data networks. The device also consists of a built-in G-sensor and comes equipped with FM radio that allows owners to record streams.
The phablet is compact, weighing a mere 239 grams and measuring 158.5mm x 88.6mm x 11.3mm in dimensions. It comes with a navigator flap that shields the 6-inch capacitive multi-touch screen which provides a resolution of 850 x 480 pixels.
