The Swipe Fablet F2 and F3 price has been officially announced by the company and the devices are tagged at Rs. 7,590 and Rs. 9,290, respectively. These phones are an extension to the series that was launched last month with the F1 smartphone.
The maker declares that the Fablet F2 would be India’s first 2G dual SIM phablet. Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread is the chosen platform for the phone which is equipped with a 1GHz processor. Users will have access to 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB via a microSD card. The manufacturer claims that the 2200mAh battery capacity would enable usage for approximately 6 hours. Consumers will also be able to listen to radio on the phone, owing to the in-built FM receiver. The tablet also possesses 512MB of ROM and 256MB of RAM.
The F3 model would be providing 3G connectivity and allows housing of two SIM cards. The device comes packed with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and permits the same amount of storage as the aforementioned phone. The smartphone will however posses a dual core 1GHz processor backed by 512MB of RAM.
Both devices measure 145mm x 80mm x 10.9mm in dimensions and the multi-touch displays span across 5 inches on the front panels. A 0.3MP front-facing lens finds itself embedded onto the phablets along with a 5MP rear camera which uses 360 degree technique to capture images at different levels. The smartphones can be used for connectivity through means of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while the 3G handset can be enabled for GPS as well.
The phones come with free navigator flaps that would shield the screens from dust as well as scratches and buyers can choose from blue, black or white back shells. The company recently unveiled a budget phablet in collaboration with MTV.
The company has stated that the Swipe Fablet F2 and F3 have been put up for sale on major online portals and can also be bought from the official website as well. The F2 however has been spotted on eBay for a lesser amount of Rs. 7,250.
