Sprint unveils Motorola Clutch i465 messaging handset

Motorola Clutch Sprint Sprint has publicized that the Motorola Clutch i465 will be available this summer, through all its sales channels. The handset powered by the Nextel National Network is a sturdy device.

It is packaged in a slender candy bar form factor. Moreover, it is the first Nextel Direct Connect messaging-centric gadget which presents the might of a full QWERTY keyboard to the iDEN line. It also offers group messaging that facilitates users to create groups of around 20 people to whom they can send messages on the go.

The mobile phone is a smart utility device which supports Military Specification 810F for low pressure, high and low temperatures, dust, shock, vibration and solar radiation. Additionally, it is Java-enabled and offers digital still and video camera. It also features GPS, Bluetooth and third-party applications. Nextel Direct Connect services assist families and friends to stay in touch by providing one-to-one push-to-talk communication. With the push-to-talk feature, users can connect to millions of other Nextel Direct Connect subscribers in a fraction of a second.

Nextel Direct Connect Custom Plans aim to provide vital services that are widely used by workgroups. These plans offer unlimited usage that too at a low monthly rate. Moreover, it also presents Unlimited Workgroup Communications that offers limitless Direct Connect and Group Connect along with unlimited text messaging, mobile-to-mobile minutes and night and weekend minutes starting at 9 pm The Web & Navigation plan incorporates unlimited data, Web browsing and GPS navigation along with all the features provided in the Unlimited Workgroup Communications.

Moreover pooled voice minutes can be provided to any of the plans for the group. It allows them to share 500 minutes for $30 per month per line or 2,000 minutes for $100 per month per line excluding taxes and Sprint surcharges. Sprint also offers affordable Everything Messaging plans that allow customers to gain from the messaging features of the handset. The plans start from $49.99 per month exclusive of taxes, for 450 anytime minutes, unlimited Nextel Direct Connect, unlimited night and weekend minutes starting at 7 pm, unrestricted mobile-to-mobile minutes, limitless text and picture messaging.

Everything Data plans are also worthwhile, starts at $69.99 per month. It includes 450 minutes of talk time, unlimited Direct Connect and unlimited data, including texting, email, Web browsing and GPS. Limitless mobile-to-mobile calling to other Sprint customers and free nights & weekends starting at 7 pm are also included in these affordable plans.

Sprint’s Everything Messaging Family plan offers unlimited messaging facility. These plans begin from $99.99 per month and permit two customers to share 1,500 minutes, including free nights starting at 7 pm and weekends. It also incorporates unlimited texting and picture sharing. Additionally, Unlimited Nextel Direct Connect can also be added just for $5 per line per month.

Unlimited voice, messaging, Nextel Direct Connect and data, including email, Web browsing, social networking and GPS navigation is offered by Sprint via the Simply EverythingSM plan.

The handset is priced at $39.99 with a new two-year service agreement. It presents $20 instant rebate and $50 mail-in rebate exclusive of taxes.The Unlimited Workgroup Communications is available at $29.99 per month per line. However the Web and Navigation plan is priced at $39.99 per month per line for Nextel phones and the Simply EverythingSM plan is offered at $99.99. All these plans are exclusive of taxes and Sprint surcharges.
