Looks like Sprint is preparing really hard to please its customers this holiday season. An announcement by Sprint reveals that the company will be offering the very popular Palm Centro handset in two new colours namely Olive Green and Vibrant Rose.
The two new colours will accompany the already existing palette of the Palm Centro that is being offered in red, black, and pink by Sprint. Palm makes public that these colours have been exclusively chosen depending on fashion trends for this season as predicted by the color experts of the Pantone Fashion Color Reports for fall 2008 and spring 2009. Now how cool is that!
Boasting of a soft-touch finish that gives a smooth and comfortable feel in the hand, both the new Palm Centro’s will be packed with some additional features too. Yes other than the new pastels the handsets will be loaded with twice the original Sprint Centro size RAM at 128MBs, microSD expansion slot, Facebook for Palm and Google Maps with the My Location feature enabled.
Well the good news isn’t over yet. Sprint plans to sell these newly shaded Centro’s at a lower price point too. We mentioned its holiday season! Starting October 19 at select stores, the Palm Centros will also be widely available online and in stores on November 2. Offered for $79.99, after a $100 mail-in rebate and a two year service agreement, we think it’s a very good deal. But you may need to hurry in case you want to grab these two colours as the offer is valid only till January 10th 2009.
