SplashID for iPhone upgraded to a new version

SplashID App Managing passwords, account numbers, login ids may be troublesome for certain users. To help them solve this problem, SplashData had developed the SplashID password manager for the iPhone. Now, SplashData is all set to revamp the application with new features. The SplashID version 5.3 does not only help users keep their passwords, logins, etc safe and secure but also enables easier anytime, anywhere.

The new version comes inclusive of a unique pattern-based option that allows access to the user’s secure database of passwords, PINs, account numbers and other personal information. With the help of this application, users can trace a unique finger pattern on the screen and also use that pattern to type out alphanumerical password to launch SplashID.

“For nearly ten years, SplashID has continued to be developed and refined to address the latest technologies and the ever-changing threats to our customers’ sensitive information. Using a finger pattern to unlock SplashID helps solve this dilemma by making it easier for our customers to obtain the information they need when they need it, while making it more difficult for anyone else to access and steal their data. Compared to traditional passwords, finger patterns tend to be more random and therefore harder to guess,” said Morgan Slain, CEO of SplashData.

It seems that due to the high penetration of the iPhone in European countries, the version has been made capable of supporting French, Italian, German and Spanish languages. So now labels, views, descriptions and other textual matter will appear in local languages as well. Users can even add to the built-in set of icons by purchasing expanded icon sets for 99 cents. SplashID permits users to design their own icons so as to represent their records. Just like the previous version, even this version pays more attention to customization.

To download SplashID 5.3, users can access the iTunes App Store and get the application for $9.99. This mobile app can be easily configured with the optional desktop companion software for Windows or Mac, which has simultaneously been launched at SplashData.com for $19.95.
