Many of us may have uttered these words at some point or another- “Hey hang up, it’s a STD call.” Those tired of the outrageous STD charges will be enthralled with this piece of news. Now, Tata Indicom has launched a new scheme focused on STD calls called the Special Tariff Voucher 8.
Tata Indicom’s ‘Special Tariff Voucher 8’ is a scheme valid for the existing pre-paid mobile subscribers of Indicom. By paying Rs. 8, one can avail the voucher which allows the user to makes calls across the country for only 50p/min for a month. The launch of such a plan aims at helping people make long-distance calls without weighing them down.
Vineet Bhatia, COO Delhi and NCR, Head North Region, Tata Indicom on the launch said, “This easy-on-the-pocket Special Tariff Voucher is aimed at providing enhanced affordability and convenience to our customers who want to stay connected with their near and dear ones across India.”
This plan cannot be availed on other plans including Pay Per Call, Pay Per Call Flexi, Pay Per Second, All 50 and Celebration plan. Also the Special Tariff Voucher 8 cannot be coupled with any other scheme that has been or may be launched during the same time. Also the plan only allows users to make STD calls at 50p/min while the other rates remain as applicable.
