A price for the Sony Xperia Z in India has finally been made public, with the manufacturer establishing it at Rs. 38,990. In addition to this, the ZL has also shown up unannounced on a retailer’s site for Rs. 35,990.
The device was unveiled along with its aforementioned companion at the CES this year and has since kept prospective customers waiting for its arrival. The maker gives users the choice of three color options namely black, white and purple. The 5-inch display that possesses a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels has been coated with an anti-shatter film to protect it.
A quick run-through of the specifications would give those interested a preliminary look into the device. The smartphone consists of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform, a 1.5GHz quad core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. In order to provide a long-lasting charge, the maker has included the Stamina mode with a 2330mAh battery.
The company has kept potential buyers hanging since it posted a cover picture on its Facebook page last week that indicated the launch of the device in the subcontinent.
