The Sony Xperia Z Ultra has stridden right into stores across India and is currently out to be seized through a host of online shopping outlets. The almost tablet-size Sony smartphone can be seen in stock with major online portals including Snapdeal, Saholic and Infibeam.
While the handset has been made available globally in shades of black, white and purple, not every e-retailer has managed to offer it in all hues. It looks like those eyeing the purple version will have no option but to knock on Saholic’s doors. On the contrary, variants dipped in the other colors can be found through Snapdeal and Flipkart as well. Infibeam will only be selling the black model for now.
Quickly running through the specifications of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, it touts a full HD Triluminos touch panel measuring 6.4-inch diagonally. Powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, it comes bundled with a 2.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. Memory-wise, there’s 16GB of internal storage space, and a microSD card slot takes care of any further expansion needs.
An 8MP Exmor RS camera resides on the phone’s flip side packing a plethora of features such as autofocus, 16x digital zoom, sweep panorama and more. The Xperia Z has been priced at Rs 46,990 by the company or Rs 44,990 when purchased through the aforementioned online stores, just as our earlier report had stated. Flipkart too will be ushering the device into its abode, but the e-retailer has only begun taking pre-orders as of now. It has said that the first stock should be arriving sometime during next week.
