Sony India has announced a price cut for two of its higher-end smartphones, the Xperia X Dual and the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual. The former was launched in India in May this year, while the latter was unveiled in October last year. The new rates for the phones have been put into effect already.
The Xperia X Dual will now be available for Rs 38990 instead of the earlier Rs 48990, enabling buyers to save Rs 10000. The Xperia Z5 Premium Dual is now costing Rs 47990, while it was previously valued at Rs 55990. Its initial price at the time of launch was Rs 62990.
The Xperia X Dual has a 5-inch display and a 23MP main camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus. This technology can foresee movements made by a subject in focus to click blur-free images. The device is supplemented with a lot of offers on sale like a 3-month subscription to Sony Liv and Hungama.

The Xperia Z5 Premium is claimed to be the first smartphone in the world with a 4K display. Sony has provided a generous 23MP main shooter with SteadyShot and a fingerprint sensor on the device. The dual SIM device supports 4G connectivity.
