Sony Xperia T, V and J release date announced for Q4

Xperia V

The Sony Xperia T, V and J release date details have been slated out at the IFA 2012 along with pricing information for the Xperia Tablet S. All three handsets come with NFC connectivity and are upgradable to the Jelly Bean OS soon after launch.

As per the specification sheet, the above mentioned devices binge on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform. The former two handsets house a 1.5GHz dual core processor and a 13MP rear-facing camera, while the latter is fitted with a 1GHz Qualcomm CPU and a 5MP primary snapper. The Xperia V packs in a 4.3-inch HD scratch-resistant display, a front-facing VGA snapper, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Xperia smartphones are at the heart of Sony’s mobile strategy of delivering a consistent user experience across devices, enabling consumers to easily and quickly access the world of entertainment that Sony delivers,” stated Kunimasa Suzuki, President and CEO of Sony Mobile Communications.

Coming to the Xperia J, it is equipped with a 4-inch 854 x 480p TFT touch panel, a secondary VGA camera, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of integrated memory. The PlayStation certified Xperia T is the company’s newest flagship smartphone and it tags along a 4.55-inch 1280 x 720p screen, a front-facing HD webcam, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There’s also 4G LTE network support and water-resistant certification. The hoarding capacity of all three devices can be further expanded via the embedded microSD card slot.

The Sony Xperia T, V and J price details are still under wraps. The former two handset’s release date for the UK is slated to fall sometime in Q4 this year, while the latter will hit stores globally in a few weeks time.
