It’s been a long time since Sony Ericsson announced its two multimedia phones, the Satio and the Aino. The handsets are back in news and are expected to reach the UK market on October 7.
According to Engadget iMobile, the slider Aino will grab the attention of the tech savvy UK citizens with its sleek design PS3 Remote Play skills. However, the Satio previously known as the Idou is designed specially for people who are looking forward to grab a comprehensive multimedia handset. The Satio boasts of a 12.1 megapixel camera as well as a 3.5-inch, 16:9 display.
The Sony Ericsson Aino apparently sports a 3-inch touchscreen display of unknown resolution. The mobile phone also features an 8.1 megapixel camera with Auto-focus, Face detection, Touch focus LED flash and geotagging. It also incorporates GPS receiver and PS3 connectivity. Seemingly, the Satio packages both the Walkman and Cyber-shot brands together in a single sleek handset.
Sony Ericsson is yet to disclose the pricing details of the Satio and Aino. The company would be unveiling these handsets in an event, where they would be giving detailed description about the multimedia handsets.
