Sony DTH Theater sound system makes its way into India for Rs 19,990

The Sony DTH Theater sound system has been brought to India for all people who have DTH connections. It has especially been designed to improve the TV viewing experience of these customers by offering enhanced quality audio.

This Japanese manufacturer has revealed that the new Theater sound system is perfectly compatible with all major DTH providers in the country which include Tata Sky, Big TV, Sun Direct, Dish TV and Airtel Digital TV amongst others. The compact system takes up almost 40 percent less space than its competitors, but does not compromise on the sound quality, thanks to its 5.1 channel.

According to Sony, it is capable of producing theater-like audio in your living room and can deliver output of up to 1000W. It’s a plug and play system and can directly be connected to the DTH. The system acts as the intermediary device between the DTH and the television as it brings a two-way HDMI connector. Its inputs include an optical port, USB ports and an audio video in, apart from HDMI.

And if that’s not enough, the one-touch function has been provided as well to make it compatible with all NFC-enabled devices and it even pledges support to Bluetooth-certified gadgets. It can play formats like MKV, MP4, AVC, AVCHD, WMV, Xvid HD and more.

The Sony DTH Theater sound system is slated to be made available in the first week of April through major retail channels across India for a price of Rs 19,990.
