Slacker releases its Slacker Radio app to offer an ultimate music listening experience to Android users. Smartphone owners can now tune in to their favorite Slacker stations.

With the Slacker Radio app, music enthusiasts can now listen to a wide range of Slacker music. The app offers unlimited number of custom stations, more than 100 expert-programmed Slacker genre, seasonal and spotlight stations as well as more than 10,000 artist stations.

With this app, users can also mark their favorite songs. Users can avoid songs, artists and customize radio stations as well.

Other notable features include an intuitive interface and support for vertical and horizontal orientation. The application can also be controlled from a widget on the smartphone desktop while it runs in the background. It allows users to share their favorite Slacker Radio stations with friends through SMS, MMS or email. Slacker Radio offers a free music library that features millions of songs from different genre. It brings high-quality stereo playback from any wireless connection.

The Slacker Radio application for Android can be downloaded from the Android Market and as well as the official website of Slacker, for free. Motorola Droid users can easily download this app available at the Verizon channel of the Android Market. The Slacker Radio app also functions with the free Slacker Basic Radio service, Slacker Radio Plus and Slacker Premium Radio subscription offerings. This application is also supported by HTC Droid Eris and HTC Hero devices.
