Skyfire 2.1 for iPhone browser descends in the UK

Skyfire Supports Videos Skyfire has kicked off excitement for all iPhone users in the UK, U.S., Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The iPhone and iPod touch mobile browser makers have released Skyfire 2.1 that allows videos designed for Adobe Flash Player. Claimed to be the company’s top-grossing app, Skyfire 2.1 is already downloaded by approximately 300,000 people.

Skyfire 2.1 allows accessibility to Twitter and Facebook Quickview feature as well. It comes with an extended sharing capability wherein Twitter, GReader, Instapaper, Pinboard, Read It Later and Tumblr can be used. Also a new tab can be opened simply with a touch-and-hold. It dominates the market with intelligent bookmark management namely editing, renaming and creating.

“We are excited to launch in the UK and other English-language countries, and expect to remain available uninterrupted in supported countries. We will continue to roll out in additional countries around the world over the coming weeks. Focused on amplifying the browsing experience, Skyfire 2.1 engulfs several video sites and unique features. Skyfire will soon be available in other countries too. The company is currently working on an iPad version that is loaded with new, undisclosed characteristics.

The Skyfire browser can be downloaded from the US Apple App Store for $2.99 and the UK App Store for £1.79.
