Sennheiser just got around to updating and releasing its CX range of in-ear headphones in India, with the CX 1.00, CX 2.00G and CX 3.00 models featuring in the lineup. All three are available now through the brand’s offline and online retail outlets. The devices are priced at Rs 2990, Rs 4490 and Rs 3490, respectively.
Beginning with the Sennheiser CX 1.00, the earphones promises to deliver deep bass and features an ultra small design. It comes with 4 ear adapters (XS, S, M, L) which are supposed to block out external noise effectively. It has an impedance of 28 ohms and a sound pressure level of 118db. The gadget can be bought in black and white colors and weighs a light 10g.
Moving on to the CX 2.00G, the headphones feature a 3 button in-line remote with an integrated microphone on-board. It’s compatible with Android devices and can be used to answers calls or control music. It’s supposed to be bass-driven and also ships with a set of 4 adapters. The device has a frequency response of 17Hz – 20kHz and is heavier at 15g.
Sennheiser claims the CX 3.00 offers detailed sound reproduction and enhanced bass. The German-based brand further asserts it’s been designed to fit into ear canals snugly, reducing the levels of ambient noise to a minimum. The headphone has been styled with matt and high-gloss finishes.

The CX 3.00 is attached to an elliptical and tangle-free cable. It is sold with a carry case and ear adapters in 4 sizes. In terms of specs, the gadget carries an impedance of 18 ohms and a frequency response of 17Hz – 21kHz. It weighs 12g and is available in black, white and red colors.
The Sennheiser CX 1.00, CX 2.00G and CX 3.00 all come with 2-year warranties. Like we said above, they’re out now for Rs 2990, Rs 4490 and Rs 3490, in that order.
