Say cheese with the NEC N906i smile detector phone

Although, Japan’s NTT DoCoMo has announced the launch of 16 mobiles, it will be interesting to talk about the one with a 5.2 megapixel camera which can also detect a smile! The NEC N906i actually clicks the shutter of its camera only when it detects a smile.

The phone is the upgraded version of the NEC N905i that was launched in 2007.

NEC N906i phone also features:

Yamaha audio chip for sharp and clear sound,

Micro SD card slot

Support for majority of audio and video formats

Weighs 109mm × 49mm × 19.6mm and weighs 133grams

The phone is a part of 906i series which also includes the N906iL and N906iμ models. The N906iL comes with 7.2Mbps HSDPA and wi-fi and N906iμ comes with 3.2 megapixel camera with the rest of the features same as that of N906i.

All the phones in the series are good looking clamshell models with large screens.
