Sprint, the number three US wireless carrier is geared up to add another entry-level clamshell handset to their list. Already harvesting a number of Sanyo Katana variants, the latest handset to head to Sprint is the Sanyo Katana Eclipse.
The upcoming Sanyo Katana Eclipse has recently been unveiled by FCC. The slim ‘flip-phone’ features EVDO, GPS with Sprint navigation and Sprint TV. The phone also includes Bluetooth, a MicroSD card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. With a decent specification sheet including camera, the clamshell handset will be fresh innovation for Sanyo Katana users.
Sanyo hasn’t revealed much about the pricing and availability of the Katana Eclipse.
