The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 are being sold at Re 1 as part of the company’s Make in India celebration. The occasion is going on till May 15 and offers discounts on a number of different products.
Under the terms of the deal, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 can be bought at Re 1 as a down payment. The rest of the amount has to be handed over in 10 EMIs paid through Bajaj Finserv or Capital First only. The brand is also offering a separate option where the handsets can be purchased via ‘No Extra Cost’ EMIs.
This scheme involves paying the full amount over the course of a 3, 6, 9, or 12 month period and can be done via leading banks and issuers. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 are currently priced at Rs 33900 and Rs 42900, respectively. The brand is looking to further entice potential buyers by offering a 10% cashback on both credit and debit cards for EMI and non-EMI purchases.
Samsung hasn’t just issued a drop in cost for its high-end phones. It’s also reduced the value of the Galaxy A7 (2016) from Rs 33400 to Rs 29900, Galaxy A5 (2016) from Rs 29400 to Rs 24900, and Galaxy Grand Prime 4G from Rs 11100 to Rs 8250.
