Samsung unleashes three new Bluetooth headsets

Modus 6450 HM3600

There is no denying the fact that Bluetooth devices have made life a bit easier for those busy souls using them. To broaden its Bluetooth headset portfolio, Samsung has announced the release of three new Bluetooth products namely the Modus 6450, the HM3600 and the HM1610.

The sleek new Modus 6450 sporting a crystal-blue hue, includes features such as voice command functionality, EQ settings and Android application support. It can be used as a mono-style headset for making and receiving calls as well as a stereo Bluetooth version 2.1 + EDR device when connected to the available ear buds for overall improved audio functionality.

This headset is compatible with the Samsung FreeSync Android app for providing various customizable options to users. It packs in support for advance noise and echo cancellation along with a dual microphone design. Its incorporated LED display shows battery or call statuses, while the peripheral ensures talk time of up to 6 hours and standby time of around 180 hours.

The HM3600 is said to be specially crafted with users’ comfort along with an advanced feature set in mind. The company claims that its comfortable on-ear speaker design reduces ear tiredness related to long duration usage. Weighing just 13g, this gizmo includes a host of attributes such as voice prompts, automatic volume adjust and Bluetooth version 3.0 support.

The headset can be paired with up to two devices at once using the advanced multipoint technology and it also features dual-mic for noise and echo cancellation. It promises users talktime of approximately 9 hours and standby time of roughly 300 hours.

The HM1610 is touted to seamlessly blend fashion and communication capabilities in one single device. The headset’s near end enhanced audio technology results in improved sound quality and speech intelligibility features. It also integrates advanced multipoint technology for connecting Bluetooth-enabled audio-streaming devices like PCs, phones and MP3 players.

Additionally, the active wind noise reduction algorithm employed can eliminate wind noise to ‘jogging speed’ and perk up the signal to noise ratio of the microphone. This peripheral supports Bluetooth version 3.0 + EDR devices and includes a single-mic design for noise reduction and echo cancellation. It guarantees a standby time of around 250 hours and talk time of almost 6 hours.

Official details regarding the pricing and availability are unclear for now.
