The latest rumor on the Internet is that the Samsung Trance U490 phone will be available through Verizon Wireless from April 24, according to reports by Electronista. This music centered phone is said to feature the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower hardware and a related sound processing software.
Apparently, the Samsung Trance phone features a music player and includes V Cast Music with Rhapsody support. This phone may also integrate a new sharing feature with the ability of streaming music on two separate Bluetooth stereo connections simultaneously. It is said to offer one-touch access to music and it may also include multitasking capabilities.
This phone is reported to sport a 2.1 inch display with 176 x 220 resolution and a 1.3 megapixel camera. Supposedly, it comes with 1 GB of internal memory and supports expansion upto 16GB.
The Samsung U490 is slated to bundle up various other features such as Mobile Email, VZ Navigator, Mobile Web, Chaperone Parent, Chat capability, and Voice Message with threaded messaging feature.
The Samsung Trance U490 phone is expected to be available from April 24. It is estimated to retail at $120 after a $50 mail in rebate with one year contract, $50 after a $50 mail in rebate and a two year contract while it retails for $220 without any contact.
