Samsung previews 360-degree ‘Ring Radiator’ speakers ahead of their CES 2015 launch

Samsung has gone ahead and given us a glimpse at the unique 360-degree ‘Ring Radiator’ speakers which it will be introducing at the upcoming CES 2015 event in January. Two models namely WAM7500 and WAM6500 have been revealed by the South Korean giant, while it has also said that more audio products will be introduced by it at the technology expo.

The specialty of these Samsung speakers is that they can be placed in the middle of a room to get their sound in all directions. This is made possible by the 360-degree ‘Ring Radiator’ technology which is said to provide a perfect balance between treble and bass.

These products have been developed partly by the company’s new audio lab in Valencia, California. Samsung claims to have equipped them with premium materials on their exteriors so as to help them blend in with any home decor.

Like we said, ‘Ring Radiator’ speakers exist in two distinct models, with one among them being the Stand-type (WAM7500) and the other being the Movable-type (WAM6500). Seemingly, only the latter comes with a built-in battery, but both are capable of seamlessly connecting to TV sets, soundbars and mobile devices.
