Samsung has officially introduced its latest slider handset, called the Samsung SGH-T819. This brown-colored sleek phone will be available through T-Mobile.
This stylish mobile phone comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture support, a 176 x 220 resolution screen, MP3 player, a speakerphone and A2DP Bluetooth for wireless music streaming.
It also incorporates in-built Micro SD slot that provides a storage capacity of up to 2GB. The slider phone offers quad-band GSM/GPRS connectivity with Edge. Users can also access Yahoo, ICQ, Windows Live and AOL for instant messaging.
Through T-Mobile’s myFaves application, you can call five friends or family members for free, and is compatible with T-Mobile Address Book. Now, that sounds like a profitable feature.
The SGH-T819 offers a battery of up to 5 hours on talk time and up to 12.5 days standby. It weighs 3.5 ounces and measures 4x2x0.5-inches.
Priced at $99.99 (approx. Rs. 4000), the Samsung SGH-T819 slider mobile phone will initially be available in the US with a two year contract. Sadly, no details on the release date as yet.
