A new smartphone ready to hit the market. Verizon Wireless added Samsung Omnia SCH- i910 touchscreen phone in its line up. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile and customizable user interface that runs on nation’s most reliable wireless network.

Samsung Omnia is a compact smartphone that comprises all the relevant features. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 professional with Mobile office suite. This enables the user to view and edit documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The phone is also integrated with Microsoft Direct Push to provide easy access to multiple email accounts. It has a 3.2 inch display screen and features a full QWERTY keyboard for fast text messaging and an optical mouse for easy navigation. Addition to this the Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 is also wrapped with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface and specially designed widgets for personalization.

Samsung Omnia provides support to Opera 9.5 Mobile browser for enhanced web browsing. The phone is enriched with high-quality 5 megapixel camera with digital zoom and powerful LED flash and camcorder. The phone’s camera has ability for Face detection and Panorama, split shot and anti-shaking. In addition to this it also has SmileShot feature that enables the camera to detect when a person is smiling and the picture is automatically clicked. The phone also features a stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and Wi-Fi technology. The phone also supports Divx and Xvid movie files.

The phone is inherited with VZAppZone which offers access to download games, ringtones, wallpapers and much more. The VZNavigator enables the users with visual and audible directions and also get maps of location and share them with others. The battery usage time is upto 346 minutes and a standby time up to 464 hours.

Samsung Omnia SCH- i910 smart phone will be available across business sales channel beginning Nov 26 and at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on December 8. The phone is priced for $249.99 after mail in rebate and with two year service contract.
