We just reported about Samsung’s Android-powered Nexus S being released across the Indian mobile phone markets with a price of tag of Rs. 29,590. Expanding its product range even further, the company has now released the gorgeous Galaxy Pro, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Pop and Galaxy Pop’s CDMA version for Indian consumers.
All of these handsets run Google’s Android 2.2 or Froyo OS to proffer unrivaled all-round mobile performance. The Samsung Galaxy Pro smartphone shows off a 2.8” touchscreen display and includes a slide-out full physical QWERTY keypad for quick text input. It is bound to put a smile across most users’ face with the inclusion of features such as Exchange ActiveSync, Social Hub, ThinkFree and more. The handset is powered by an 800MHz processor and jackets a 3MP camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace handset boasts of a 3.5” HVGA TFT touchscreen display and a 5MP camera. It embeds an 800MHz processor to proffer faster data processing capability and hi-quality 3D graphic performance. This device packs in 1350mAH battery and comes pre-installed with a free 2GB memory card which is further expandable to up to 32GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Fit features a 3.31” QVGA TFT touchscreen display and includes the Touchwiz 3.0 UI for smother navigation. It comes equipped with a 600MHz processor, a 3D accelerator and HSDPA 7.2 connectivity. Other eye-catchy features include a 5MP camera, 1350mAh battery and an expandable memory of up to 32GB. The Samsung Galaxy Pop enables users to take advantage of the integrated 3G connectivity. It sports a 3.5mm ear jack to provide improved sound quality while listening to the device’s built in FM radio or music library. Samsung has also released the stylish Galaxy Pop in a CDMA version.
The Samsung Galaxy Pro, Ace, Fit, Pop and Pop’s CDMA version attach a price tag of Rs. 13,750, Rs. 17,040, Rs. 11,870, Rs. 10,290 and Rs. 10,500, respectively.
