Samsung Mobile has teamed up with Cricket Communications Inc, a leading provider of unlimited wireless services to introduce a new entry level mobile phone, the JetSet SCH-r550. So gear up for a sleek, feather-weight clamshell that actually sports some great features for a low-end phone.

The Samsung JetSet is among the finest in our product line and supports many of today’s most popular applications — making it a great way for customers to take full advantage of our signature unlimited service,” revealed, Sergio Garcia, senior director of devices and logistics for Cricket.
An AWS-compatible handset, the JetSet is packed with a 2.0 megapixel camera and camcorder, stereo Bluetooth capabilities, a MP3 player and microSD for expandable memory support of up to 16GB. With a 2.1 inch TFT internal display (262k colors and 240 x 320 pixels) along with a 1 inch TFT external display (65k colors and 96 x 96 pixels), the Tri-band CDMA phone additionally boasts of EVDO, touch-sensitive external keys and a 2.5mm headset jack. Bundled with pre-installed games, the camera in the JetSet phone is also MMS capable.
The phone can now be availed at Cricket retail stores and dealers at a price tag of $199.99.
