Samsung introduces four new WiMAX Mobile Phones

Samsung has launched four new mobile phones out of which one is a PDA style , the other mobile convergence device SPH-P9200 and the other two are USB modem type devices SPH-H1300 and SWT-H200K.

The Samsung SPH-P9200 is capable of voice and multimedia data communication through Mobile WiMAX network. SPH-P9200 supports voice, video-telephony calls, Mobile WiMAX, HSDPA and Wi-Fi. The SPH-P9200 is a foldable device with a touch mouse function to increase usability. Users can also run applications like MP3, VOD and games without the need for a keyboard.

Samsung SPH-H1300 and SWT-H200K can be connected to laptops for quick use of Mobile WiMAX technology. Users will be able to plug in the USB and connect to the PC easily with the swivel type design.

The PDA SPH-M8200 supports Mobile WiMAX and CDMA EV-DO connectivity. The Samsung SPH-M8200 is a bar type phone with 16.6 mm thick and has a full touch screen and supports Terrestrial DMB, Bluetooth, file viewer and enhanced UCC related functions such as video editor and background music.

These four devices of Samsung are launched in the Korean market by Korea Telecom.
