Samsung plans to woo and charm the Chinese market by launching a new handset. As per Unwired View, Samsung is all set to roll out Samsung i899, an Android smartphone in China.

The report claims that China Telecom is going to be the carrier for this mobile phone. Moreover, the device is available with CDMA/EV-DO connectivity. The phone will sport a 3.2 inch AMOLED resistive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels. The handset can be Wi-Fi/WAPI enabled and will support DIVX format.

The device measures 116.5 x 56.4 x 12.8 mm and weighs around 126 grams. For music lovers, the mobile phone comes with a 3.5mm headset jack. The handset also comprises of a 3.2MP camera with autofocus and flash and 512MB of internal memory. The device encompasses 800MHz processor, microSD card support up to 32GB and 1440 mAh battery.

Even though the price is currently under wraps, most probably Samsung i899 will hit the Chinese market in early 2010.
