In South Korea, Samsung has showcased a Pokemon Edition of its Galaxy Z Flip 3 that’s all set to be released on April 24. It’s a limited edition device and what’s interesting is that it comes packed with a heap of goodies that look to allure the Pokemon fan within you.

Despite this, it doesn’t look like the phone itself will have a special paint job, which is a bit of a bummer. The image posted on Samsung’s official website shows that a black Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be paired with a Pikachu-themed clear case to give it the unique look. The phone’s box will have a Pokeball-themed livery.

You’ll be able to swap out the design on the clear case with another one or opt for a Pokeball-shaped pop socket. A metal keychain shaped like Pikachu’s tail is also included along with a Pokedex-themed pouch with a lanyard strap. Lastly, you’ll seemingly also get a set of stickers to go along with all this.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 was launched in August last year as the company’s second attempt at creating a vertically folding handset. And it was fairly applauded for its offerings, unlike its predecessor. It’s got an excellent design that delivers IPX8 water resistance.

The Snapdragon 888 chip powers the handset, taking assistance from 8GB worth of RAM. The phone displays its visuals on a folding 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets a tiny external display that can be used as a viewfinder or for showing the time, date, notifications, and battery status.

Nothing about the price of this Pokemon Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has been revealed so far, but we’re assuming it will be quite higher than the device’s base price of $999.
