Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Sprint to go live on September 16, priced under $100

The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Sprint is all set to hit availability status on September 16 for less than $100. The phone can be paired with the carrier’s Sprint Everything Data plans that starts at $79.99 per month and offers unlimited talk time, text and data to and from any mobile device in the US.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Sprint shows off a 4-inch touchscreen and it is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual core chipset. Laced with the Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the phone is expected to operate on the service provider’s 4G LTE network. However, word about a Jelly Bean update remains conspicuously absent.

Android Device

“Price is often a barrier for customers who are ready to transition from a feature phone to a smartphone; Samsung Galaxy Victory brings Sprint 4G LTE to the mass market with the high-end features and capabilities of a premium Android smartphone. Priced under $100 and paired with Truly Unlimited data from Sprint, our customers will appreciate the functionality of this device without worrying about costly monthly rate plans or surprises on their wireless bill,” quoted David Owens, vice president – Product Development, Sprint.

For snapping up images, there’s a 5MP sensor allocated to the rear and it offers LED flash and video capturing capability. Sharing the space with the touch panel on the front bezel is a 1.3MP imager to cater to video calls over the web. Some other added attributes include Sprint ID to personalize the user experience and Google Wallet to engage in secured buying transactions through NFC. Some well known intuitive features seen in the S3 such as S Beam, AllShare Play and more have been included too.

4G LTE Handset

The Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Sprint price is marked at $99.99 as part of a new line or applicable upgrade and a 2-year service agreement. A $50 mail-in rebate through reward card is also part of the deal.
