The ICS-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 has been unveiled for prospective users in India. This tablet is deemed to be the South Korea-based manufacturer’s first Android 4.0 slate.

The slab’s front panel is fitted with a 7-inch WSVGA PLS TFT display proffering images in 600 × 1024p resolutions. A dual core processor ticking away at a speed of 1GHz powers all the operations of the Samsung device. The phone is equipped with a primary 3MP camera on the rear, while there’s a front-facing VGA sensor for video conferencing.

All Samsung utilities like Hubs, the ChatON service and the TouchWiz interface stay right in place. In terms of connectivity options, the tablet offers Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi Direct. Employing 1GB RAM, it can be picked up in memory choices of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. Besides, the user memory can be expanded via a slot made for a 32GB microSD card.

The tablet offers 3G as well as Wi-Fi support and it carries a 4000mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab 2 310 price in India is marked at Rs. 23,250 and Tata Docomo is vending it with 3GB free data over a 3-month period.
