The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is arriving in India on August 28 with the hefty price tag of Rs 57900 for its 32GB variant. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 5 will not be made available in the country alongside it.
Both handsets were announced together but the South Korean giant is selectively choosing the markets each gets launched in. It makes sense to a certain extent since the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 have pretty similar features. The main factors distinguishing them are the former’s dual-edged screen and the latter’s S Pen tool.
The 4G-enabled Galaxy S6 Edge+ has a 5.7-inch super AMOLED quad-HD (2560p x 1440p) display. It’s powered by an octa-core 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor with four 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 cores and four 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 ones. The device contains 4GB of RAM and a 3000mAh non-removable battery equipped with fast charging technology.
