The new flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge phones have made their way into India, reassuring customers that the country is a key market for the company. And as expected, the handsets do not come cheap as prices start from a whopping Rs 49900.
That amount is of course, for the base model which is the Samsung Galaxy S6, while the sexier Galaxy S6 Edge will set you back by an absurd Rs 58900. And we’ve only covered the 32GB units as the company is also offering the new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Edge handsets in higher capacity options. The former version with 64GB of onboard memory will retail at Rs 55900, while the 128GB phone will set you back by Rs 70900.
Coming to the Galaxy S6 Edge, the 64GB and 128GB variants have been tagged at Rs 64900 and Rs 70900. The main reason for having models of different storage is due to the company dropping the microSD card slot from the blueprints. The new Samsung flagship phones take on a fresh design approach where the majority of the body is made from glass, while the frame is crafted from metal.

There’s not much different between the two Samsung phones, except that the Galaxy S6 Edge comes with a display that’s curved on both sides. Also, the same device also packs a slightly larger battery of 2600mAh. Both Galaxy S6 phones come with Android Lollipop and the latest version of TouchWiz which is bloat-free.
