The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9190 has been subjected to more than just petty rumors, even as multiple pictures of it have sneaked out in the same month that the South Korean tech giant has announced its latest flagship. Apparently, we are advancing towards not one, but two variants of the smartphone depending on the integrated SIM slots.
The Galaxy S4 mini may be seen flaunting a 4.3-inch touchscreen. This display could deliver a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and show off a TW Nature UX 2.0 user interface. Fitted at the phone’s heart will supposedly be a dual core processor moving at a clock speed of 1.6GHz.
If speculations hold true, then the manufacturer will be repeating history by granting the smartphone few features that resemble its enlarged version’s, just like it had done with the S3 mini. The only aspect which the device is expected to share with the GS4 is the Super AMOLED screen in addition to presumably being preloaded with the latest version of Android Jelly Bean.
Speaking of the GS4, it has been introduced with various attributes that take it to the next level. Being the first smartphone to be driven by an octa core processor based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture, it has also arrived with software such as Smart Scroll and Pause, Air View and Gesture as well as WatchON, which had been the talk of the town ever since speculations crept out.
Coming back to the shrunken version, its specs sheet still has a number of components that are eagerly awaited in gossip circles owing to only scarce details having been outed. According to the folks over at SamMobile, the company should unleash the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini sometime between June and July. It is too early to comment on its price or availability details, or even the location where it will be up for grabs, considering that the manufacturer has withheld the S3’s launch in certain markets.
Let’s steal a quick peek at the rumored specifications of the handset:
– 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touch display
– 540 x 960 pixel resolution
– TW Nature UX 2.0
– 1.6GHz dual core processor
– Android 4.2.2 OS
