The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini UK release date is out and those who have been hoping to grab the Galaxy S3 look-alike will only have to wait for another week before they could lay their hands over this compact phone. It has been loaded with games like The Sims 3 and Bejewelled 2 apart from the ChatOn messaging application.
Earlier last month, the phone’s launch date had surfaced on the web through Phones 4u and it was slated to be made available on November 2. But, the e-retailer has postponed its shipping date to coincide with that of the official one. It is up for pre-order via Clove and Phones 4u in the country.
The Galaxy S3 Mini runs the Jelly Bean 4.1 platform, unlike the Galaxy S3 which ships with Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA capacitive touchscreen and a VGA front facing camera to facilitate video calling while on the move. As for the primary snapper, there’s a 5MP imager with attributes like auto focus, digital zoom and more.
Additionally, a 1GHz dual core processor has been incorporated along with 1GB of RAM for multitasking properties and it arrives with either 8GB or 16GB internal memory. The 3G-enabled phone also features built-in Wi-Fi and other communication options like Bluetooth and NFC.
Priced at £298.80 through Clove, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will be up for sale in the UK from November 8.
