Samsung Galaxy Note to debut in Canada via Rogers, Bell and Telus next month

Online retailer Best Buy has announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note in Canada through Rogers, Bell and Telus next month. The smartphone cum tablet is scheduled to arrive in the country on February 14 via the mentioned network carriers.

This news follows hot on the heels of the recent announcement which stated that the Galaxy Note is all set to debut on AT&T in the U.S. next month. Operating on a 1.4GHz dual core processor, this handset is graced with a 5.3-inch WXGA 1280 x 800p HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display. Powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it offers an internal storage space of 16GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy gadget comes incorporated with the pen input technology dubbed as the S Pen that makes it possible for owners to operate the device either by using their fingers or the accompanying Smart Pen. Users are allowed to capture fond memories with the integrated 2MP front facing camera and the 8MP rear snapper featuring action shot, beauty, panorama shot, smile shot and 1080p HD video shooting functionalities.

While Telus is offering the Samsung Galaxy Note for a price of $249.99, those who wish to opt for Bell will have to shell out $199.99. Both the company’s would be retailing the smartphone from February 14 along with a three year agreement. The Rogers price for the mobile device is not yet known.
