Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to arrive in 4 different variants

The grapevine is abuzz with rumors suggesting that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be made available in 4 different variants. Apparently, Samsung will be introducing these models to suit the needs of customers in various markets.

The guys over at ET News, a Korean-language website seem to have found out about this plan of the company in question, reports Android Beat. Unlike the earlier generation phablets, the imminent device will come in models made out of plastic as well as high quality materials. And their touchscreens are also likely to differ from each other.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 encased in an exterior made of high quality materials will be outfitted with an unbreakable AMOLED display. It will also play host to a 13MP rear-facing camera. But the OEM will not be manufacturing many units of this version, so it will be a limited edition product. All the other three variants will feature plastic form factors.

The front panel of one of the three plastic models will be graced by a regular AMOLED touchscreen, but it will continue to sport a 13MP primary snapper. This phablet’s third variant will be pretty much similar to the second one, but the only difference is that the former will have an LCD display. And what’s more, the phone will also arrive in a version with an LCD screen on the front and an 8MP camera on the flip side.

It looks like the South Korean company wishes to make affordable versions of the Galaxy Note 3 in order to make it accessible for budget-conscious people across the world. The conglomerate has obviously not gone on record to confirm any of these speculations. It is expected to be unveiled in September this year at the IFA.
