Samsung Galaxy Note 3 packing Exynos 5 Octa destined for India

It’s been known for a while now that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may come bundled with either an Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. But Samsung seems to have plans to sell each model in separate markets, just like it did with the GS4. We have the latest news indicating the octa core-packing units’ imminent arrival in India.

It so happens that there might be at least three variants (SM-N900, SM-9005 and SM-N9002), each directed at different markets across the globe. Tagging along with this bit of information are details pertaining to graphics that might accompany each chipset. Units concealing the Exynos processor which has been clocked at 2.3GHz will also welcome an ARM Mali – T628 MP6 GPU, reports SamMobile.

It looks like the US has been left out of the list of countries receiving the octa-core SM-N900, as the Snapdragon variant (SM-N9005) with Adreno 330 graphics preps itself to visit the American nation. On the other hand, both units will be coming to the UK, while the South Korean manufacturer has reserved the SM-N9002 exclusively for China. This Samsung Galaxy Note 3 coming to the Far East, may also feature Exynos 5 Octa.

All three avatars of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will moreover include 3GB of LPDDR3 of RAM, the report noted. While various specifications have been spilled out, there still are a bunch of blotches on the device’s specifications sheet. Hopefully, all our doubts will be cleared on September 4.

Purported specifications:

– Exynos 5 Octa or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset
– 3GB of RAM
– 5.7- or 6-inch touch panel
– Android 4.3 OS
– 13MP or 8MP primary camera
