Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A9 Pro in India, after the smartphone was launched in Malaysia in June and in China before that. The device will be available for sale from September 26 for Rs 32490. It will be sold in black, gold and white color variants.
The Galaxy A9 Pro is closely related to its base version in terms of features. The new device boasts of upgraded RAM, a better camera unit and higher battery capacity. It has a 6-inch AMOLED display. The front snapper unit is of 8MP resolution, while a 16MP main shooter sits on the back.
The Galaxy A9 Pro is powered by a 1.8GHz octa core Snapdragon 652 processor along with 4GB RAM. The dual SIM device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Its internal memory is of 32GB which can be expanded up to 256GB using microSD. The phone can connect to the Samsung Gear Fit2 watch.
Samsung has enabled the Galaxy A9 Pro with LTE support. The handset is juiced by a 5000mAh battery that is claimed to last for around 20 hours of 4G internet usage or almost 33 hours of 3G talk time. Connectivity options like USB 2.0, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi are present on the gadget.
