Samsung Fascinate to dazzle in white on Best Buy

Samsung Fascinate Best Buy

After generating widespread hype about the Fascinate, Samsung finally unleashed the handset on Wirefly and other outlets in mid-September. Draped in a black sheath, this offering was delivered by Verizon across the US. The product has again caught our attention and this time in a white shroud. According to engadget, the white Samsung Fascinate will initially available exclusively on Best Buy.

Reportedly, this move is seen as a challenge to Apple who has been constantly endeavoring to wrap the iPhone 4 in a white cover. Samsung’s Android-based device is a part of its celebrated Galaxy S range, sporting a 4-inch super AMOLED screen. The device has been plugged to display vibrant hues with rich images and superior graphic reproduction.

Built on the Android 2.1 platform, this phone boasts of a 5MP camera and the Text With Swype feature. Its integrated GPS has been designed to offer voice-guided, turn-by-turn direction by VZ Navigator. Besides, the 3D Mobile hotspot functionality comes handy for surfing the Internet. Apparently, it has been noticed that the solution extends easy access to Bing Maps and search instead of Google’s web offerings.

Best Buy will flaunt the white Fascinate and Sony Ericsson X10 starting October 24, 2010. In addition, the Dell Streak and HTC Surround are expected to reach the website on November 8, 2010. To ensure any one of these handsets, users will need to make a deposit of $50.
