Samsung’s F9000 series of UHD TVs has a set of new members for India which are all set to hit the retail markets in the country with full force. There’s a 55-inch television set as well as another that offers a viewing real estate of 65 inches. And that’s not all, the highlight in the series is the 85-inch 85S9 that will set you back by Rs 28 lakh.
All of the aforementioned devices offer ultra-high definition images which means they can render visuals in 4K resolution with 8 million pixels. In spite of being extremely huge, these TVs manage to maintain the style factor and flaunt a minimalist design. Users will find a narrow bezel adjoining the screen and they are complete with metallic finish. A metal stand accompanies them, so they can be perched up on it.
The One Connect Box is something you will appreciate as it eliminates the cable clutter you usually see around a TV. The basic function of these gadgets which is delivering clear pictures, is fulfilled to the core. All LED TVs claim to produce crisp and detailed photos with accurate and optimal color and contrast.
The Quadmatic Picture Engine, a picture processing technology does its bit to maintain the quality of content beamed out on the devices. Some of its main duties are to adapt source images, do away with visual noise, sharpen them and make the videos capable of the UHD screen. Naturally, the Samsung TVs produce enhanced sound, thanks to integrated speakers and sub-woofers. Some of the other features include Smart Hub, built-in webcam for video calling and internet access.
The 55-inch and 65-inch Samsung F9000 series TVs are priced at Rs 3.29 lakh and Rs 4.39 lakh, respectively. The 85-inch model is available now for Rs 28 lakh.
