Samsung envisages i329 Windows Mobile smartphone for China

Samsung i329 China Samsung has already entered into the smartphone market and now it is all set to make its presence felt in the Chinese market with the latest i329 Windows Mobile smartphone. According to Ubergizmo, the appearance and the design of this smartphone bears resemblance with the Windows Mobile driven Omnia B7300.

The i329 Windows Mobile smartphone is backed by a Qualcomm QSC6975 chipset. The smartphone boasts TouchWiz user interface. It incorporates a 3-inch touchscreen display that offers 240 x 400 resolution. Reportedly, the smartphone facilitates users to hoard several snaps, contacts, media files owing to its 512MB of internal memory. The Samsung i329 also supports a microSDHC memory card slot which can hold up to 32GB of storage space.

Apparently, the CDMA smartphone will be launched by China Unicom on its latest CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Rev.0 network. In view of the fact that China Unicom has transferred its CDMA business to China Telecom, there is a possibility of China Telecom unveiling the smartphone. However, there is no clear idea about which carrier would be launching the Windows Mobile smartphone away from China.
