RumdeeDum ‘Princess Arabella Wants to Play’ on iPhone

RumdeeDum The princess Arabella now steps out of her castle to enter the iPhone palace. RumdeeDum doffs the cover of its latest Interactive Children’s Book the ‘Princess Arabella Wants to Play’ for the iPhone platform. Children from the age of four to ten could engross themselves in the adventures of Arabella as she now traverses with RumdeeDum.

The original Princess Arabella has been written and illustrated by Mylo Freeman. The author heard that a little African American girl had stated that ‘There’s no such thing as a black princess, there’s no way I can play that part!’ when the girl was asked to be the princess in a school play. Thus, came alive the story of a little firm minded princess called Arabella in the form of a picture book.

Until now, Arabella’s stories were only printed but just like any other royalty she wanted to expand her empire to encompass the iPhone. The tale of this princess is brought to life with additional features like music, sound effects and animations. Arabella even packs in hidden surprises and animations within the story for her readers to access by touching the screen. This book may be read in a variety of different ways. Parents or children could go through the short text and narrate the story in their words. If the children want they can loose themselves in the immersive experience of the journey of Arabella by listening to the pre-recorded storyteller.

The enticing story of Princess Arabella is available in English and Dutch. The current version for the iPhone is the first in this series. RumdeeDum plans to launch other games and stories by this fall.
